Portland will guarantee Anthony’s contract for the remainder of the 2019-20 NBA season, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday, citing NBA sources. The team had until Jan. 7 to make the call, ESPN’s Bobby Marks reported. Death returned to Rwanda last week-this time at Kibeho, the largest of nine refugee camps established by the French Army to protect Hutu civilians fleeing from the Rwandan Patriotic Army. For months, Rwanda’s Tutsi-led government had complained that the camps had become sanctuaries for Hutu guerrillas. In early April the army moved in to close them and return the inhabitants to their villages. But on April 22, things went horribly wrong....

Kingsbury was fired the day after the regular season ended, opening the Cardinals coaching job. With Kyler Murray already entrenched and Arizona needing to enter an extremely expedited rebuild, the job – like any job – undoubtedly has its ups and downs. Atop the list to replace Kingsbury is Sean Payton, who has already expressed interest in it alongside the Broncos job. Payton and Murray seem like an interesting fit, as the former Saints coach seemingly appears to end his coaching sabbatical....
